Proud Canton resident, Jordan Toussaint has been an active member of our community. Appointed unanimously by the Board of Selectmen appointments committee to fill a vacancy on the BOE, Jordan has shown her commitment to education, our students and the community at large.
Born and raised in Connecticut, she developed a strong connection to her community. Earning her B.S. with honors in Business Administration from The University of Connecticut she excelled academically and was dedicated to learning, which prepared her for future public service.
With a robust background in financial risk management, she has brought a wealth of expertise to her role on the Board of Education. She is currently serving on the finance sub-committee, Policy sub-committee and Curriculum sub-committee.
A proud mother of two, and wife to Husband Matt, she understands the importance of a strong educational foundation for children. Her personal experiences as a parent have deepened her commitment to creating an educational environment that nurtures and supports all students.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is deeply engaged in various community initiatives. Her volunteer work and active participation in local events reflect her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact. She believes in fostering a sense of unity and collaboration within the community, ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
Jordan exemplifies leadership, financial expertise, and community spirit. Her contributions have significantly enhanced our educational system and strengthened community bonds. As a responsible leader and dedicated mother, she consistently prioritizes the community's best interests in her decisions, firmly believing that Board of Education members should represent the community's desires and needs.
