Welcome to Canton Middle School!
We are dedicated to providing a supportive and enriching environment that empowers students on their journey to be a healthy, happy and wise person. With a focus on social-emotional learning and student-led activities, CMS encourages students to find their voice. As important, we encourage students to have a positive impact on their community and the world. Our knowledge and skills are at their best when they are employed for the betterment of others.
We are fortunate to have close relationships with our fellow Canton schools that allow us to make a smooth transition into middle school and ensure our students leave ready for high school. The coursework, classes and experiences are designed to be a part of a continuum that moves students towards achieving our district’s vision of a graduate.
Students, you will find CMS to be both welcoming and challenging- we welcome you as you are and we challenge you to do your best everyday; we welcome your failures and we challenge you to learn from them; we welcome your strengths and challenge you to do great things with them.
