Canton Middle School Hours are as follows:
Regular School Day 7:30 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
2 Hour Delayed Opening 9:30 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
Early Release 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (listed on school calendar as "1/2 Days" for Parent-Teacher conferences, professional development days, and holidays)
Weather Related Early Release 7:30a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (scheduled or unscheduled due to weather or emergency)
Grade 7 Lunch 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Grade 8 Lunch 12:06 p.m. - 12:36 p.m.
School opening delays and emergency early closings
If there is going to be a school cancellation or delay, the decision will be made no later than 5:45 a.m. in the morning. In the event school will be dismissing early, notification to our community will be made in a timely manner for proper supervision at home.
The public will be notified of any cancellation, delay or early dismissal via several ways, if possible:
